About

I'm Christian Mandefro, a Systems & Product Builder based in Denver. I spend most of my time on tools that meet something messy outside the browser: a camera, a car, a pile of source material, or a person trying to make a difficult decision.

I design and direct these products: what they are for, how they are structured, what counts as evidence, and when they are done.

What I work on

Recent projects include:

  • native macOS and iOS capture
  • vehicle diagnostics and hardware-facing workflows
  • learning tools and visual explanations
  • local security, recovery, and careful automation

How the work gets built

I set the product direction, system structure, interface design, evidence standards, and acceptance criteria. Codex and Claude do much of the coding with me; I direct the work, review the implementation, test it, and decide what ships.

A note on unfinished work

I keep build status, test results, hands-on checks, and production use separate. They are not interchangeable. That is why some project pages spend a sentence on what has not shipped.

Background

DevLookForward began as freelance web and cloud work and gradually became an independent product lab. Earlier training includes AWS re/Start and AWS Cloud Practitioner and AI Practitioner certifications. The newer work is better represented by the projects themselves than by my older résumé.
